Building Use Guidelines

COMMUNITY DAYS

iFamily Leadership Academy (iFamily) and Christ Community Church (CCC) are in no way affiliated with one another. iFamily holds a rental agreement with CCC for the use of their facility on our weekly community day as well as special events such as performances and meetings.

Building Use Guidelines: Welcome

1. Children under the age of 18 should always be attended by an adult in the facility and on the grounds.
2. Children should not be in parking areas unless they are going to or from a vehicle.
3. Please do not climb on trees, fences, walls, etc., play in the flower beds, or throw rocks.
4. Chalk drawing on the sidewalks requires CCC office permission and thorough cleanup afterward.
5. Children are not to go past the west side of the ball field or by the canal.
6. Outside doors are not to be propped open.
7. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises; smoking is not permitted in buildings.
8. Only service animals are allowed, per CCC’s Pet Policy.
9. Scooters, roller blades, bicycles, and wheeled toys are not allowed in the building.
10. The scissor lift shall be operated only by qualified, certified staff for facility maintenance.
11. Nothing shall be hung from the ceiling or ceiling beams in the Worship Center or Student Center.
12. All decorations for non-CCC events shall be approved by the CCC Church Administrator or Event Coordinator.
Please note—the use of candles or other sources of open flame is not permitted except in proper, safe, and approved containers and locations.
13. Participants need to stay in the areas and rooms that are included in the Facility Use Agreement. If the Worship Center is used—no one is to use the stage unless by agreement, and children are not to climb on stacks of chairs.
14. There is to be no kitchen use or access unless specified in the Facility Use Agreement or by special arrangement.
15. Supplemental heating or cooking appliances are not to be used outside of the kitchen. This includes, but is not limited to, coffee makers, electric frying pans, hotplates, propane appliances, food processors.
16. Please maintain a reasonable noise level in the building.
17. Users should read and understand the fire safety and emergency exit map posted in each room.
18. Maintain proper and respectful use of rooms, furniture, and equipment, including doors and windows. There is to be no sitting or standing on tables.
19. CCC supplies are not to be used by outside groups. Please do not remove toys or supplies from the cabinets. Never use CCC supplies!
20. Please use only blue painter’s tape on the walls when putting up signs and posters—no scotch tape or regular masking tape.
21. When you leave, please make sure that tables and chairs are set up according to the room maps unless you have a prior arrangement with the CCC office.
22. Users (parents) will pay for damages to the facility & furnishings. CCC has installed several cameras throughout the building.
23. Entrance to the building after allotted door times will be granted using a door code. The church office should not be used as access to the building. If you are ordering in food or other items, please instruct the deliverer that you will be waiting out front of the building for them.
24. Users will sign a Hold Harmless Agreement and have insurance for activities if required by the Facility Use Agreement.
25. Additional school activities outside of the regularly scheduled day of school require filling out a supplemental form and will be subject to additional fees.
