Joy in the Journey
This life is a journey--all full of ups and downs. There is so much weighing heavy on so many mamas. Many homeschool mamas feel their biggest rut at the beginning months of a new year. My hope is to help lighten the load so you can find more joy in your journey. A wise man once said, "We can find joy, even when having a bad day, a bad week, or even a bad year. The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives." We are going to focus on joy this semester, learning ways we can create joy in our lives even when things feel hard.

Your Body, Your Friend
In the age of more mental, emotional and physical diseases than ever, you might infer your body is the enemy. Who wouldn't, when doctors frequently proclaim "your body is attacking itself." But what if your symptoms are simply messages from a loving body that doesn't know how to speak in any other way? And our brain is the confused receiver, putting negative loops on repeat in an effort to do what it thinks we want. The result? Pain that is real, but not always necessary. Come learn ways to re-wire your brain, regulate your nervous system and experience God's truth: your body is on your side.
